Terror act in Dagestan aimed at inciting inter-ethnic discord – party leader

The death toll has risen to 21 from a series of terrorist attacks on churches and synagogues in southern Russia. Civilians and law enforcement officers are among the mostly Muslim victims, as well as two Christians.

We spoke to State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky who is leader of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party. He denounced the terror attack in Dagestan labeling it ‘a deliberate provocation to incite inter-ethnic discord.’
