What gets up my arse, is how fucking dimwitted most of the people are around this area....

None of this, "Everyone reverse out and get out and get well away"..... Nooooo.

Just stand their with their fingers up each others arses and say, "Oh I wonder what is happening?"

The other thing is that from one side of the hole, you can see 5 or 10 meters of undercut, on the other side of the hole... And yet they stand there within 5 meters of the edge going, "Oh look at that!" while there is a giant hole opening up, under the ground they are standing on...

Not putting 2 and 2 together and backing up rather swiftly.....

Fuck them.

I have a cliff edge mentality - the 45* Degree MINIMUM safe distance - in a geological sense.... If the cliff is 10 meters high, stay 10 meters away from the edge.

I prefer the 30* Degree idea though... a 10 meter high cliff and staying 15 meters away from the edge....

Land Slides and Cliffs giving way...
