You fell into her passive-aggressive, shit-testing, attention-whoring trap. She got you to bite on the bait she put out there through her friend so she could stir up drama, make herself the center of attention, siphon off your energy, and waste your time in a pointless texting flame war. She figured out which of your buttons to push to get a reaction; and she succeeded.

The fact she went to such lengths to spy on your through her friend tells me she'll probably try it again; she's too heavily invested to quit now. She's probably still scheming behind the scenes because she's fixated on you; expect more in the future. Not my place to tell you what to do, but...
