@Alpha Male Lifestyle: It didn't look really "rippish" - sure they are there and you can see them, but the coast looks like it's a shallow angle out into the deeper water and if my magic clairvoyant vision is right, that is on the upper end of the gulf of Mexico, so there would not be any naturally strong ocean currents, or huge waves coming in from the deep open ocean.... so there fore, the strong rips basically would not exist.... Me thinks.
