A bank that unites the BRICS group of rapidly-growing economies has issued a new bond in South Africa that's become one of the highest-valued on the domestic market.
The New Development Bank placed the bond in South Africa's rand currency. The issue is part of a major effort to boost the national economy, specifically by increasing trade turnover.
