Smokin' & Jokin' With Sarge #148: Remoting In To Wolf-fest 2026 (P.S. FUCK YOU American Airlines!)

So I was heading to Wolf's last night. here's how that went downhill:
I get to the airport at 11pm for a 12:50am departure. I get gate-raped without a hitch and I'm sitting at my gate. Then they say they have to switch planes so our departure got moved to 1:22am. Then they say they're short ONE attendant, so the flight got pushed to 5am and then 5:30. This meant I wouldn't even be in Chicago until 11:11 am (CST). Then I wouldn't leave Chicago until 5pm and land in Rochester until 7:58pm!
When I got to the counter, the lady found a SLIGHTLY earlier connector that would have in Rochester at 6:15pm. At this point I wasn't sure I could trust them to make shit happen. What if this promised 5am flight got pushed out any later? I told her at this point American Airlines is like a cheating wife; can't be trusted. They refunded my ticket and I came home.
I left the airport at 2am and got whacked $21 for 3 hours of the parking garage for nothing.
So I won't get to meet LB Weaver and Russ Hanneman in person!
