Same thing in europe, but security guards have the right to detain you till the Police arrive.. But most of the time police close their eyes on the fact that it was illegal to detain the thief.. I guess it's the same thing everywhere else.. I have a friend who beat the shit out of a thief in front of everyone in the street for breaking into his car in broad day light.. When the cops came they arrested the thief and closed their eyes on my friend for beating the thief, the papers didn't mention that he had hit the thief so the thief was fucked..

@Bagoodman: Yup that's 100% right ! And unfortunately it doesn't work like that in real life.. You saw it in the last documentary I re-posted about Israeli men.. It's the same thing in Europe and America.. But in Europe you have at least a chance to defend yourself, but things are changing.. in the US or Canada you're fucked once go to court for a domestic violence or whatever kind of violence against women !

@Doggk: I'm not saying be violent or to smack weemon . But in the USA we can press charges and make sure it goes to court and make a point in court and say out loud so it's on the record I want her to be sentenced as a criminal not as a Man or a Woman ! If its on the record you can push it to a higher court.
