@audiophile641: I mean for a heap of legitimate compromises and reasons, probably self protection against large predators of some description - you couldn't use it on a farm for putting down 99.99999% of all farmed animals... It's big, expensive, heavy, unwieldy, and each bullet costs a fortune, and anything that needs to be killed - instead of a neat hole into the brain it's going to spray it's head into chunks and pink mist...
