He says that Iran is winning the war geographically, at least while it has control over the vital Strait of Hormuz, while mocking U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to blockade Iranian ports as it will cause economic crisis to spread worldwide. The professor does not mince words, calling the embargo a ‘stupid thing to do’ as it is forcing more and more countries to pivot away from Uncle Sam while the blockade ignites a major economic recession across the globe. Mr. Hanke says that Trump has actually boxed himself into a corner, with no way out. Our esteemed guest, however, says that there will be a winner from all this chaos – BRICS.
