Russian FM to attend BRICS summit next month, as President Putin will participate via video link

The Russian president will not be attending next month's BRICS summit in Johannesburg, as South African President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier announced that the two nations had agreed that Vladimir Putin would not travel to the country. However, he will participate in the summit via video link.
