In this episode of Repairing the Manosphere, Paul Elam sits down with Dr. Warren Farrell for a broad assessment of the state of men’s issues advocacy in 2026—where the movement has succeeded, where it has failed, what has changed, and what young men now face that previous generations did not.

The conversation looks at the growing political, cultural, and relational divide between young men and young women. Across several developed nations, young men and women are moving apart ideologically. Surveys also suggest that men are substantially more likely than women to report a positive view of the opposite sex, while women are more likely to report negative attitudes toward men.

At the same time, boys and young men who withdraw from women are increasingly blamed on the “manosphere,” misogyny, or online influencers.

But what if some of that withdrawal is a response rather than a cause?

What are young men supposed to do if they believe many women no longer like them, do not respect their values, are hostile toward masculinity, or simply do not appear to be viable marriage partners? Should men continue organizing their lives around romance, intimacy, and female approval—or is a different model of male self-development becoming necessary?

Warren Farrell has spent decades advocating for greater understanding, communication, empathy, and cooperation between men and women. In this discussion, we examine whether those ideas still hold up under the social conditions of 2026, and whether some long-standing assumptions within men’s advocacy need to be reconsidered.
