RT correspondent reports from the Strait of Hormuz

As the Strait of Hormuz remains essentially at a standstill, other than the few ships that have been allowed to pass, Iran and Oman are discussing a joint mechanism to manage traffic through that waterway.

Tehran says this will be an economic arrangement, in which the two countries will enforce tariffs.

That's as Tehran has outlined a new control zone there - from coast to coast.
