There are some RPG elements in real life. Speech skill for example. Charisma and the ability to manipulate others for personal gain while giving nothing in return. I consider voters for example to be Speech-checked. Pre-war business wear suit clothing item: +10 to Speech skill. For some reason people will generally listen to the words of those who wear fancy clothes. I however have more trust and respect for blue-collar men. Because they give something back to me in the economy unlike white-collars.
Or you give a smartphone to an average zoomer of today: -5 Perception item. Walking off cliffs, into traffic. Get sucker-punched and robbed. Completely oblivious of the world around them.
