I know. This message had to be discovered, because it was on only one web page, now it is on two web pages only.

Its a balancing act..... too low when no matter how many steps are taken to turn it all the way up, you can't hear it over a room fan, and too loud is it blows the speakers out at the lowest of settings. A SOLID volume with fairly good head room to turn it up so you can hear it outside if you need too....

@wroger_wroger: I understand, your point is well taken. I needed to use my laptop speaker volume control to catch the audio while another tab is open with the national NEWS.

@4_ArchAngel: Same seating position, same distance from the microphone - make it a standardised and formulaic production process., and only vary the subject matter. AND if you need to mix content, and the included matter is significantly variable - open the video file with Audacity and edit the audio file - usually by selecting sections and amplifying it, filtering and other things.

You can save the audio as an MP3, and then use things like Openshot to edit the files, strip out the audio, bring in the MP3, and export as an MP4, using 256 compression in an identical video specification - VLC media player will show video image size, frame rate etc.... Look under CODECS....
