I used to be involved with a woman who is an ex-mental patient and an absolute sociopath. She's in therapy, not because she has any intention to actually be a better person, but to get validation (i.e., she pays her shrink to tell her she's a good person). And her cunt of a shrink plays along and thus enables her behavior.
