🕌 In this important address recorded from his hotel room in Moscow during Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH, Sheikh Imran N. Hosein discusses how Muslims should respond when Imam al-Mahdi appears and why he believes preparation is necessary before that moment arrives.

📘 The lecture begins with Sheikh Imran’s interpretation of the Prophetic narration concerning the death of a Muslim ruler, disagreement over succession, and the emergence of a man from Madinah who travels to Makkah and receives the Bay’ah. Sheikh Imran explains that he has long interpreted this narration as potentially referring to the death of a major Muslim ruler rather than the death of a Khalifah governing a previously restored Caliphate.

🌙 A major focus of this lecture is the sequence of End-Time events. Sheikh Imran discusses Jerusalem, the Great War, the conquest of Constantinople, the appearance of Dajjal, and the eventual return of Jesus عليه السلام, presenting these events as interconnected within his understanding of Islamic eschatology.

📖 The discussion then develops into the role of Imam al-Mahdi in restoring unity to the Muslim world. Sheikh Imran argues that the divisions of the Ummah into competing nation-states, monarchies, republics, sects, and national identities have weakened Muslim political power, and that only a divinely guided leader could restore that unity.

Sheikh Imran argues that when the time approaches, powerful institutions may attempt to present a false or manufactured Mahdi to the Muslim world, including through modern technology and artificial intelligence. He stresses that Muslims should not accept a claimant merely because of public appearances, popularity, or political support.

⭐ The session further explains what Sheikh Imran considers the decisive sign distinguishing the true Imam: the Prophetic report that an army advancing against him from the direction of Syria will be swallowed by the earth in Arabia. He presents this extraordinary event as something that cannot be manufactured by intelligence agencies or political powers and therefore as a confirmation of the true Imam.
