"We Are Not Impacted, We Are Injured": Allison Inquiry Press Conference | July 9 2026
Press conference from Parliament Hill June 9 2026
MP Dean Allison and the Allison Inquiry team held a press conference on Parliament Hill on July 9, 2026, providing an update on the response to the inquiry and inviting more Canadians and Members of Parliament to take part in the September hearings.
MP Allison confirmed that hundreds of Canadians have come forward since the inquiry launched a month ago, and that every Member of Parliament has now been emailed and invited to attend. Michelle, a co-founder of CanRise19 and a vaccine injury survivor, shared her experience of the past five years, including forced medical retirement, brain surgery in the United States, and the search for care that Canada's health system could not provide. Volunteer Teresa Buckley outlined how Canadians can contact their MP and support the inquiry, and closing remarks addressed public trust in the health system, the case for a national conversation, and the need for MPs to attend and listen.
The Allison Inquiry hearings take place September 8 to 11 on Parliament Hill.
