Four years ago today, Vladimir Putin launched his full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Despite the enormous suffering these four years have brought, the Ukrainian people remain undaunted and determined to take back their country.
Putin has made it clear he has no desire for peace, and believes if he waits long enough he will achieve his objectives. We cannot allow that to happen.
If we bungle this, it will be a disaster for the deterrence that President Trump has worked so hard to restore, and will embolden not only Putin, but bad actors around the world.
Ukraine's fight is our fight. Let's give them what they need to finish the job.

On 26 June 2025, United States President Donald Trump said Netanyahu's trial should be canceled, stating that "Bibi Netanyahu's trial should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero, who has done so much for the State" after the Iran–Israel war.[89] On the following day, the Jerusalem District Court rejected Netanyahu's request to delay the trial testimony regardless of Trump's request, citing that the request "does not present a detailed basis or reason that might justify canceling evidentiary hearings".[90] Trump repeatedly called on Israeli president Isaac Herzog to pardon Netanyahu, including during his address to the Knesset in October 2025, and wrote a letter to Herzog in November 2025 once again requesting a pardon for Netanyahu. In February 2026, Trump called Herzog "disgraceful for not giving it" and said "he should be ashamed of himself" and that "the people of Israel should really shame him", prompting Herzog's office and various Israeli politicians to push back.[91]

During his April lecture at Texas A&M University, Pompeo shared a personal anecdote as "a bit of an aside" how he came to defy his West Point honor code stating that "a cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do." He admitted: "I was the CIA director. We lied, we cheated, we stole. It was like we had entire training courses...it reminds you of the glory of the American experiment."
