Putin and Prabowo hold Kremlin talks as Russia-Indonesia ties grow

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow as the two BRICS member states moved to strengthen their strategic partnership.

The talks focused on expanding cooperation in trade, energy, and financial transactions. Putin highlighted that trade turnover between Russia and Indonesia has increased by more than 12%, while also welcoming Indonesia’s new status as a full BRICS member.
