Yeah - true... but the people who go through this interection are not travelling at a speed appropriate for the conditions, and they are not slowing down and preparing to stop, before they enter the intersection. Regardless of the piss poor planning, the drivers all did, what it takes, to create the dangerous situation and to have the collision.
