Public sector workers rally for better pay in Germany

United Services Trade Union members and public workers protested in Potsdam, Germany, demanding a 10.5% pay increase for 12 months, but no less than €500 per month for nearly 2.4 million federal and local employees. The municipal employers' union has already rejected the collective bargaining request as 'unacceptable'.
