Protect your future by knowing your past

I was stupid enough to live with one, but thankfully, never got her pregnant, but the OTHER dude she was fvcking knocked her up. She promptly dumped me (I was getting discharged from the Marines, and knew I wasn't marrying her, so yeah that worked for me). The other dude promptly dumped her after finding out she was pregnant. Since there wasn't DNA testing back then, she didn't know who was the father. He had a job (the Marine Corps) with benefits, so she thought she'd hitch her wagon to him. Didn't quite work out for her. Sad... for the kid.
