Price cap on Russian oil: How’s that working out so far? (Not great)

As part of measures designed to cripple the Russian economy, last year the G7 group of nations announced a price-cap on Russian crude.

However, with oil currently trading over the declared ‘60 dollars-a-barrel-payment-limit,’ Washington is expected to remind trading firms, insurers and tanker owners of the rules of its game.
