Political party brings back deceased ex-leader in AI form

Russia’s Liberal Democrat Party has released an AI bot based on party founder Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who died last year. Residing on Telegram, the so-called ‘digital apprentice’ has not only been trained on Zhirinovsky’s speeches, but also on interactions with the public, in order to be able to give meaningful commentary on current events.
