People keep being homophobic towards me!

But through the use of tactful circumvention and redirection, I'd steer her onto more productive discourse, rather than making merry with her confusion....

"Oh those terrible people taking the piss out of you. Yes they are awful aren't they. Would you like a cup of tea dear? And how was the rest of your day love?"

I actually really like her.

She comes across as being kindly and sincere, unlike the rest of the feminist bone picking vultures.
