‘People before profits’: Protesters hold climate strike in Portland

Hundreds of environmental activists took to the streets of Portland to demand that the Governor of Oregon, Tina Kotek, address climate change in the state. Protesters marched, chanted and held banners and placards reading ‘Tina Kotek act now,’ ’People aren’t killing the planet, capitalism does’ among others.
