Pan-Africanist Kemi Seba leads rally against French presence in Niger
Niger has seen mass protests outside a French military base with participation of pan-africanist Kemi Seba, who warned Paris that Africans are ready for a fight. And while the French ambassador has returned to Paris and President Macron has declared that France's military mission there will be wrapped up by year end, some foreign forces, including US soldiers, remain in the country.
We hear from a former Nigerien diplomat, Kalla Karimou, who says that foreign forces in the country are not helping with the state of security.
