That means:

Total donor pool contributed: about $2.61 billion

Total outposts built: about 520 if every month’s full $300 million is turned into 60 projects

Total people directly funded: about 520 builders

Total secure homes/outposts: about 520 outposts

What that means in practice

Each month, a new group of 60 people could be chosen from the 3 million donors to build in different regions. If each project stays close to the $5 million cap, the program could create a large network of secure housing sites with storage, food, and supplies by year-end.
