This is more doable for more people....
And while MONSTER top fuel vehicles are good, these are more fun and sort of everyone can get in on them.
Where as all the high tech "fastest 4 second quarter mile 12,000 HP cars" just suck up enormous amounts of time, resources, money and sponsorship - to get up and running.
Though the bikes are really incredible - the safety standards are piss poor...
At the very least they ought to have proper helmets and kevlar reinforced or lined gloves, shirts pants and sand shoes...
Coming off at 200 Kmh dressed like that is just plain dumb.
