Orthopedic Surgeon Fatally Shot by Patient: Police

A Tennessee surgeon was allegedly shot dead by a patient. The nightmare erupted at a medical office outside Memphis, where Dr. Benjamin Mauck specialized in hand surgery. Cops say he was in the examination room when gunfire erupted. The suspect was reportedly a disgruntled patient who had been allegedly hassling the 43-year-old doctor for a week. The suspect, Larry Pickens, was arrested soon after the shooting. Inside Edition's Steven Fabian spoke with a former patient who says Mauck saved his life.
