Hundreds took to the streets of Nuremberg to demand a ceasefire in Ukraine, chanting and carrying banners with slogans such as ‘Make peace without weapons’ and ‘We are the red line’. The protesters also called for more action from the government to tackle the cost of living crisis. Germany has reportedly supported Ukraine with €2.2 billion in aid in 2023.
