No Common Sense

There are hundreds of mile in the inner cities of disused railway sidings usually in poorer area's so why not use the old railway coaching stock and do the same thing, sleeper cars and some basic passenger refitting. make them look appealing and safe and fit in with the infrastructure maybe at a station or centralized known public place? easy to find, first come first served, free and regulated with washing and toiletry functions and basic timed sleeping dormitory area's? They could even run a train on a specific short line between towns pick up the homeless at stations and rest at the end of the line over night as a service and redeliver them back to the stations in the daylight hours first thing? this would cost more but as a tax payer would you prefer this to some drifter sleeping in your garden or subway? Also out of sight out of mind.

Further to this bus idea, the buses could be fitted with a tow bar and like the old luggage trailers fitted to the 1960's RMA Routmaster airport buses of BEA they could fit purpose built porta potty traillers with say washing area's as well, this could get thousands of the streets every night, situate them near police stations or communal well lit area's for safely?...................Just an idea?

Here's what I think would be a good idea for the homeless etc. There are thousands of old buses arouind, still street legal or neeing a little TLC. Why not buy the up job lot and just generally ark them up under supervision around spot's like this and for free the homeless and destitute can have a covered sleep and even sometihng to eat maybe, In th day time they can be found a place to park the buses up safely. I bet removing those benches cost far more than putting in benches as well? These buses could keep the seats down stairs and upstairs they could be removed and a basic bedding platforrn introduced. tey could call it say - Bus and board or something? They wouldn't need to many buse and spread them arounf particular hot spots, a tank of diesel would probsbly last a month so not much expense or out lay maybe a bit initially, the vehicles could be fumigated or cleaned in the day and drug and other abuses would be banned and if not followed by the rules that person would be bus banned? I love buses and just bought a couple of Brighton Blue Bus models as well as some BH&D's as well. what gave me the idea was looking at Airprt connection buses of the 1970's where luggage and a disabled spot was down stairs and the upstairs was COACH fitted in luxury. If I was a millionaire or a philanthropist I would actually do this idea as a project. Maybe someone else could do it, i waant no credit, i like to be anonymous and invisible myself1 lol! Yeh "Board the Boarding Bus" could be the slogan and they would be parked every night under supevision on a first come first served basis?

What I think? The Government is the problem! Wasn't it them who keft the illegals in? Causing the overcrowding and now park bench problem?
