Nigeria smothers in mayhem with bandits running riot

Banditry and general unrest have been a problem in northern parts of Nigeria but have now boomed and become a nationwide issue. Politicians are demanding that government deploy troops to curb gang attacks, while locals have already been allowed to carry guns for self defense, which some critics fear may plunge the African state into complete anarchy.
