NATO using Ukraine as a PROXY against Russia and Africa — African Freedom Institute president

Ukraine's active complicity alongside France in destabilising the Sahel is now very well documented — according to a statement by Niger's Prime Minister during a UN General Assembly session.

His message comes as Niger has cut relations with Ukraine.

In 2024, Mali and Burkina Faso joined their West African neighbour in urging the UN Security Council to 'take appropriate measures' against Kiev for its 'blatant and deliberate support for international terrorism.'

Russia's foreign minister has also pointed out that Kiev sides with forces opposing legitimate governments in far too many conflicts on the African continent, including the fighting in the DRC and Rwanda.
