it was the bots he used, not legitimate views from actual people, then through youtubes ad system he got money via their ads using bot accounts which played ads in the system, he essentially printed money by gaming the system lol, look i think it was cleaver, but he thought he could just do this and get away with it, in my opinion he was too effective which tipped off the people running youtube of him and they further investigated what he was doing and found it was all using bots. think about it like a slot machine and using some program to game the system so that you always win, but he would have gotten away with it if he didn't get greedy with this method.

@KEEPER: jewtube uses bots all the time, there is no difference... twatter and fakebutt did the same thing too.... so is it illegal or is it not illegal, it cannot be both ways. also what law is he breaking by doing this? that is my point.

@sbseed: it's not illegal when youtube does it on their own platform, but when the users do it to make money off of the ad system is when it broke their TOS, i learned from Amr on this website he could manipulate the views with bot views, but he doesn't like that, he would rather the views be real.

i can't say it's a law, but they are allowed to go after people for fraud on their own platform, like i'm not sure it's against the law to steal from a slot machine, but the owners of the casino can kick your ass out and ban you for life, however if you do steal from then and they don't catch you while the scam happened, they can charge you for a crime, i forgot how that's figured into the crime system, but in places where they allow gambling the government earns a cut from the casinos through them instead of through taxes from the people, i hear in Navada for example the people don't pay taxes for the state, they might have to still pay for federal but not the state taxes because of the gambling is legal in the state and because the state is involved with the money earned in the state they have some law worked into how that works, so they take fraud very seriously. it's funny thinking about it because it makes you think of youtube as a slot machine lol, money be printed.
