You can be sure that these price hikes in insurance are to cover the Electric car cost's when they burst into blames, and WE have to pick up the bill for those TWAT's. I think 2030/35 will come and the ICE vehicles WILL continue to be made because the system wont survive without them. Net Zero is a thing of the moment, once the power's that shouldn't be get nearer to the date and it looks like complete failure it will all be re jigged to say 2050 or some thing? I'll probable be gone by 2035 anyway? I did have a dream when I was 17 that told me i would live to 82 years! lol! so let's say I'll be gone by 2032 them, and good ridden's is all I can say! lol! got no fear of dying so if it has to be in prison fuck it!

Once your insurance goes above the points and Thousand Pound Fine for not having insurance then why bother with it anyway. I even filtered and boiled the rain water without any ill effect's to myself as well, but that will be a last desperate thing! I do tend to OVER butget for things like Insurance and stuff so if it does hike up I'm in the ready mode mindset.

I think you have it figured out.. my insurance in Florida has more than doubled the last couple years.. They probly had a meeting and thought they could use a few more vacations.. lol..

EV's are driving up insurance costs as well. When they burn they cause higher collateral damages than ICE car fires.
