Moldova forces Russian cultural center to shut down after 17 years of work

Moldova has forced a Russian cultural center to close after nearly two decades of operation in the former Soviet republic. The move comes after Chisinau refused to renew an agreement on cultural cooperation with Moscow.

The Russian side responded by saying that despite the actions of Moldova's current government, the local people will not forget their shared history.

We spoke to Moldovan citizens about how Chisinau's decisions are affecting them.
