Single childless men are MUCH lower maintenance than single childless women, who on average spend more on w(h)ine and cat food, clothes, accessories (including tats; Lol), etc. I have a couple pairs of work boots, couple pairs of gym shoes, and one pair of dress shoes (mainly for Church and related functions), which I've owned (the dress shoes) for roughly 20+ years, occasionally getting them reheeled or resoled. There are one or two suits I've owned for at least 25yrs, properly maintained of course. Others I've had for maybe 10-12yrs. I'd be shocked if I found one woman in the last 5yrs who'd wear the same shoes for 2-3 months, while also dressing conservatively. Hell, even if you've ever shopped at Goodwill, you'll find at least 5x as many women's clothing than men's. Not criticizing, just observing.
