TROOF!!
This woman affirms something I’ve been saying for decades now….age discrimination starts at 30. Why? It is because at 30, both men and women start reevaluating their life priorities. Employers know this. IF the employer wants someone who will be nose-to-the-grindstone and put the company first at all times, they’d rather have a 20-something blinded by ambition than a more experienced 30-something who is deciding it’s time to get married and start a family. Likewise, if the employer likes to bully employees, they know that more experienced people will tolerate less crap from the boss. 30 is the benchmark where many need to decide what path their life should follow…man or woman. Do you want the career over family or family over career?
Sweetheart…darling…sugar babe…you will likely have to work for the rest of your life even IF you get married.
I have some advice for this woman: Put on an apron, get in the kitchen, learn how to make a sandwich and then pray that men will still find you at least semi-attractive by the time you learn how.
These women need to watch that scene from fight club on repeat for as long as it takes till it sticks. Not special, not a beautiful and unique snowflake, same decaying organic matter as everything else, same compost heap and all that. Definitely got me thinking as a teenager.
