Yeah the girl at the end.... I could be wrong... but I'd estimate that this is one of the very rare times she gets to see her dad, and she has never chopped wood before, and she is learning... so after first go at chopping wood, she looks to him for approval and admiration and more lessons...
OR it's his girl friend.... Women from cold climates do not age as fast at the women in SUNNY HOT climates like Australia...
She sort of looks daughterish and she also looks kind of early mid 20's..
I myself am OK with axes, but not standing on logs and cutting them, and they are pretty frightening to "get it wrong with" where as seasoned people who do axe racing competitions for a sport are furiously making BIG swings and deep cuts and accurate edge placement - I would not want to be doing that as a beginner..... No fucking way... So being totally uncertain from a lack of expereince, she does it in a way that is comparatively safe...
It pays to start slowly and carefully with axes... and slowly build up the accuracy, the length of swing and where and how your cutting down trees and logs etc...
It's a bit unfair to call her a failure on her first go at it...

And when felling trees by axe was an industry - people had to be both fit, fast, strong and very good with the axes, as bad injuries in the middle of no where, with only horse back and the nearest doctor, made getting medical assistance a significant issue.
