Soap opera's were the bigining of the end for society. i remember when the British soap Eastenders started in the 80's I was on a bus and I heard these to women arguing. i thought it was just a family laundry thing in the open, BUT they were arguing over character's in a fucking soap opera! lol! how pathetic is that?
Yep I'm of Canadian British decent as well, Mum was born in Winnipeg and many of my cousin's and relatives were from Vancouver and Hamilton and moved here before WW2. all gone now.
