The MSM are trash. GB News will be highly scrutinised and regulated by OFCOM, but as far as I am concerned they just need to to be bland but truthful with no BS to get me watching broadcast TV "news" again.
I hate the fake news where the guilty are protected from the truth. The nicer she is the more the good girl she plays the worse she is when nobody is looking.

The situation of printed publications in my country is not too dissimilar. The tabloid sales are overtaking the more authoritative ones and they are getting thicker too (with more advertisements of course). The editor will pick up news that sells better and slap a sensational title to it. Mostly too good to be true. There was a time, when reading the headlines at my favorite newsstand was a regular morning habit. Headlines back then were carefully constructed by people who know how to use their head. The photo was there but used sparingly. Less is more.
