@SoloManZone: I have a plane like that kids but 40% size with 118" wingspan.. 150cc twin cylinder. 32/12 prop. 50 oz smoke tank. 100oz gas capacity. beautiful yellow and blue breitling scheme. 42lbs. success with that.. high alpha knife edge across the field. ~4 off terra firma $6,000.00 .. also have Carden Extra 300s with 100cc twin. 102" wingspan. . and I say a 64" wingspan aerobatic trainer is much more relaxing and fun.. . this full scale plane looks just like my 40%.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSAeD03DBzs

@SoloManZone: I fly more like the full scale performance.. I think some people get way too squirrelly and mess up their lines.. I like to see graceful precision. . The nose high "high alpha" hanging on the prop type slow flying is colloquially referred to as "3D"

My 35% Extra was $5,000.00 both are 3D planes.. I go out in the morning with no wind and do an inverted flat spin with smoke on and it looks like a giant screw in the sky.. and it hangs there. I usually fly through it.. I like the knife edge spin also. where it falls in the knife edge position with fuselage rotating.. But I like to duplicate full scale even just a tail slide falling into your own smoke.. I tap the throttle at the transition on that IU have had a plane tail slide 100' before it rotates.. it gets scary sometimes.. you need the best equipment.. an engine stall at 10' and nose up and you will have a broken airplane.. I enjoy flying smaller sport planes.. I can do almost everything with an easy sport.. in fact I may scratch build one to my specs.. You can scale them up with a printer at an office supply.. heh..no, really ;).. the plans. Anyrate I can do rolling cirlces and the easy sport wiull do tham all day long.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSnnRGeO-yY

@SoloManZone: I have a 68" Katana with a 30cc gasaoline engine.. You need gas to make smoke really.. the heat.. Typically you have a tank.. a pump.. into a coiled up bronze tubing in the muffler that heats up the fluid before it enters the exhaust chamber.. I just use 50% diesel and 50% auto transmission fluid.. smokes like hell. heh.. what a hobby though.. it is like riding a bicycle.. good luck at the beginning.. once you have it you never forget.. man, all the days at the field.. The sport is addicting.. you get a rush from flying rc.. most people do.. I would say a feeling of freedom and power.. The people who have failed or are in learning watch you float up set the plane down right in front of you. taxi up and kill the engine.. That's what they want to do.. lol it takes years usually. I bump the controls as plane is rolling or even in a loop. bump the rudder if the plane veers.. you got gyroscopib effects we try to take out by aiming the engine to the right and up slightly.. for straight tracking.. When everything is right. go out have some coffee with frioends and fly all morning.. cool hobby. oh shit there goes diaper dan he crashed another one.. hey dan do you need a trash bag? heh.

When I got into the hobby of RC airplanes it had many limitations.. many of which had been resolved over years.. In 2006 after everybody had been borrowing to pay all their bills.. the hobby was thriving.. by say 2010 it had really lost people's interest.. because of the housing crash and loss of easy revenue.. .. It is always fun though to get out and fly in the wind with an aerobatic trainer type plane..

The largest hobby shop in the world went bankrupt and sold out to it's competitor in the aftermath of the immigrant easy credit housing boom.. so over half the uh, enthusiasts dropped off the map.. used model airplanes all over for sale .. this is like the top of the heap/. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjrq_Kj-wSU

I thought about playing part of this for the mockingbirds.. I know they listen carefully. When I was a kid the pipe glider made a distnict creaking noise.. the mocking birds would mimick perfectly.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FExBwfQHXlE

@SoloManZone: heh I like the chainsaw one if that was real.. The Florida mockingbird mimicks other birds to around 150 calls.. car doors.. and a swingset glider..
