It baffles me why women do not understand this. As mentioned, multiple partners increase the chance for STDs and disloyalty, 2 big nono's for a man looking for a long term partner. But I guess that when you always follow your feelings, logical thinking is nowhere to be found.
Also : women do not realize that their promiscuity actually confirms what they so vehemently deny about themselves : that they're procreation vessels, specialized in breeding new humans. Just that they want the fun without the role that belongs with it (parenting).
As men, we should strive to do better too. If men only valued virgins, women would change their behavior significantly (eg muslims). But that's not what nature programmed us for; we're DNA distributors programmed to take any opportunity to extend the species. The fight between your rational brain and your primal instincts is not an easy one (same for women in that regard). Add to that the media programming to bombard all of us with constant procreation related media, and it becomes clear why instincts have the upper hand nowadays.
