The batteries have a limited shell life as during charging and uncharging cycles... microscopic dendrites [branches] form and they puncture though the membranes separating the cells... LiFePO4 is the best battery currently [new] for recharge cycles but it does not last well or survive freezing. However, er Edison did build a battery that is still lasting over a hundred years and can survive freezing... it's a nickel er iron battery in potassium hydroxide [KOH... I need to double check. ]

@ 4:50 this is spot on. People today will settle for worthless crumbs instead of a raise. Include worthless achievement awards as well- largely a creation of women. A place I worked at hired a woman in a department that is traditionally all male. Her and a female manager cooked up an award for anyone who went above and beyond: a piece of paper certificate and a $100 Amazon gift card. No mention of a raise or bonus. Of course she was the first to win it, even though she technically failed at the project she won it for.
