Medics attend to the injured at Quito protest

Medical teams treated injured protesters in the Ecuadorian capital as another rally took place in the city. The rallies are part of a national strike initiated by the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities, demanding that gasoline prices be cut, price controls be imposed on agricultural products, and a larger budget be set for education.
