One of the other things I am really frightened of is ICE BERGS - And the idea of being anywhere near them, or worse pitching a tent on one and sleeping there over night or worse - for a few days.
I saw a time lapse video of a big iceberg, dunno I can't scale these things very well.... cause they are huge... but I guess it might have been about the 3D size of a city block.
And as sat trapped in a bay, of slightly warmer than melting point ocean water, some of the bottom 90% melted, it got top heavy, rolled over, and the process continued and with time lapse video, this huge iceberg flipped and rolled over every which way - kind of like rolling a die, across a felt covered pool table, but filming the tumbling in slow motion...
And I concluded that "Fuck Tourisim" - and since icebergs only showed 10% of their mass above the ocean, therfore 90% of their mass was below the surface, and while my assertion is not technically quite correct, it's correct enough, that if an iceberg is 100 meters above the ocean, then there is 900 meters of it below the surface, therefore, they are best admired from 2000 - 3000 meters away at a minimum.
The video was a specific study of flipping icebergs.... all the cameras - time lapse - video etc., was all set up specifically for this.
This video here, shows many similar techniques etc., in the recording of this iceberg flipping and rolling.
I am overwhelmed - this is all just TOO much and TOO awesome and TOO incredible.....
