what kind of person dreams of being a political scientist?
I know a guy who, albeit 30 years ago, at 45 became an airplane mechanic in an under 2 year program. He worked his ass off studying and it was difficult stuff. He was pretty much a schlub before that. I remain impressed with that effort to this day.
