The leader of Malaysia has reached out to his counterpart in Iran and expressed concern for all countries in the Gulf region.

Prime minister Anwar Ibrahim condemned the US-backed Israeli attack on Iran when he called President Masoud Pezeshkian,

A day earlier, Mr. Ibrahim announced he was able to reach agreement with Tehran to open the Hormuz Strait for Malaysian oil tankers.
