Lonesome Road Blues - Incredibly Epic Folk Rock Anthem About How A Nice Guy Becomes A Outlaw Killer!
My adaptation of the old American Folk Song "Lonesome Road Blues" (AKA Goin Down The Road Feelin Bad), originally written by Gene Austin in 1923, and later covered by many folk artists such as Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and The Grateful Dead. This modern updated rendition is an incredibly epic folk rock anthem that I put more work into than any other song I've ever made, including over a dozen guitar parts, a dozen percussion parts, half a dozen vocal parts, and more, totaling 55 tracks in total! The resulting sound is basically a symphony of guitars and percussion like the world has never heard before. I also greatly elucidated upon the original lyrics, turning it into an epic tale of how a good man who goes on the road and is just trying to find a nice place to call home ends up being forced to turn to crime, becoming an outlaw and eventually a killer. I hope you enjoy this epic americana jam!
